Burt Williams has over 40 years of experience in energy related management. Prior to Rimrock Resource Partners, LLC, Burt was Founder and CEO of White Stone Energy, LLC (2001) where his responsibilities included executive management duties for White Stone and its client companies. From 2005 to 2008, Burt took leave of his responsibilities at White Stone in order to accept a role with Macquarie Bank where he became CEO of Macquarie Longview Acquisitions, a Macquarie Bank upstream investment vehicle formed in 2006. Macquarie Longview operated 5 fields, associated gathering systems, and a gas processing plant in SW Arkansas. Under Burt’s leadership, these assets where sourced, acquired, optimized, drilled and exited in 2008, delivering a significant return to equity. Between 2009 and 2014 White Stone managed 4 companies on behalf of 2 financial institutions, Macquarie Bank and Brevet Capital. White Stone’s focus was on returning the company’s assets to profitability and designing a successful exit strategy. Prior to founding White Stone Energy in 2001, Burt was Director of Business Development at Torch Energy Advisors, a leading energy industry asset manager and advisory firm. Burt began his career in 1981 with the Land Department at Texaco, Inc. in New Orleans.
Chris Weatherl has over 20 years of oil and gas experience both domestically and internationally. He spent the initial 15 years of his career with Apache Corporation in Houston, Argentina, and Egypt, returning to Tulsa in 2012 as their Central Region Reservoir Engineering Manager before leaving the company in 2015. Most recently Chris served as founding partner, board member, and COO of Tulsa-based Rebellion Energy I and II, with assets in the SCOOP/Merge plays in Oklahoma as well as the Powder River Basin in Wyoming.
Beth Bounds joined the Rimrock team in September 2021 with 16 years of finance and accounting experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently at Samson Resources Company, Beth led the finance and treasury team. She also gained invaluable experience managing operational accounting and corporate reporting teams during her tenure at Samson where Beth led or actively participated in many initiatives including 2 accounting system conversions; data warehouse redesign; design and implementation of internal controls; and bankruptcy reporting. Beth graduated from Oklahoma State University summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance & Accounting).
Brian Bounds brings over 25 years of experience in reservoir engineering. Over his career, he has analyzed and characterized several domestic assets including SCOOP/STACK, Haynesville, Appalachia Basin, East Texas, Permian, Powder River and other conventional and resource plays. Most recently Brian worked for Tapstone Energy on its NW STACK assets. He also worked for Samson Resources, Chesapeake Energy, Dominion Resources and Munro-Garrett International (Landmark Graphics). Brian holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Brenda Bacon joined the Rimrock team with over 25 years of industry experience. She comes to us from Armor Energy, LLC where she has spent the last 7 years as the Financial Controller overseeing all areas of Accounting and Human Resources. Prior to Armor Energy, Brenda spent 18 years at Samson Resources Company where she worked her way through most areas of accounting with an emphasis in operational accounting. She has led teams through computer conversions and SOX implementation. Brenda graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a BSBA in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Luke Hagemann is a Geologist with over 10 years experience with expertise in Field Development, Reservoir Characterization, Prospect Generation, and Exploration Techniques in the oil and gas industry. Luke’s most recent position as the Geoscience Manager with Roan Resources was highlighted by his leadership of 8 operations geologists focused on the execution of a 7-rig development schedule with a focus in the SCOOP/MERGE/STACK across Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin. Prior to Roan Resources, Luke was a Geologist with Chesapeake Energy where he successfully explored and developed a variety of plays in the Anadarko Basin, Powder River Basin and the Williston Basin. He has a B.S in Geology from Missouri State University and an M.S in Geology from Southern Illinois University.
Elliot Dowling is a Land Professional with 8 years of experience. Through his work for companies such as Cimarex Energy, Kaiser-Francis, Pinedale Energy Partners, The Nichols Companies, Binyon Land Services, and McDonald Land Services, Elliot has been able to develop in depth experience in multiple basins and all facets of land management – including both from an operator's perspective and that of a service provider. Elliot holds a BSBA in Energy Management from the University of Tulsa and continues his active involvement with the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen, where he serves on both the Board of Directors and the Scholarship, Endowment, Awards, & Mentoring Committee.
Lindsey Boggs is a technology, infrastructure, and systems analyst professional with more than 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Lindsey began applying her communication and problem-solving skills as a Petroleum Analyst at Premier Natural Resources in Tulsa, OK. Leveraging experience from various enterprise software implementations, she subsequently cofounded ScoutGroup, a field data capture software company. Lindsey has a particular interest in data automation and business intelligence, which she most recently utilized in her data management roles at Rebellion Energy.
