Rimrock Resource Operating, LLC
Rimrock Resource Partners, LLC (Rimrock) was formed in 2015 through funding commitments provided primarily by Post Oak Energy Capital as well as from the Rimrock Resource Operating team and Ceja Corporation.
In July 2016, Rimrock announced that it closed a $150 million acquisition of assets from an undisclosed seller. The oil and gas assets cover approximately 24,500 net leasehold acres that are 100 percent held by production and 3,100 net mineral acres located predominately in the Golden Trend shallow portion of the SCOOP play. Exiting 2017, Rimrock controls over 35,000 acres and initiated a drilling program that increased Rimrock's net production to over 5,000 BOE/D after the completion of its first 5 horizontal Woodford wells.
Rimrock is a Tulsa, Oklahoma based and managed by a group of industry veterans including Burt Williams as CEO & President, Dallas Dobbs as CFO, Michael Evans as VP of Exploration, James Lollar as VP of Engineering, Debra Langley as VP of Land and Gary Smallwood as VP of Reservoir Engineering. Rimrock's management team has over 300 years of energy related experience.
Rimrock’s focus will be on exploration, acquisition and development opportunities, primarily in the Mid-Continent region. Initial target will be in the Woodford Shale, one of the most economically attractive resource plays in the country.
